President Emmerson Mnangagwa has sworn in Deputy Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation Science and Technology Development, Honourable Simelisizwe Sibanda at the State House this Tuesday morning.
Honourable Simelisizwe Sibanda has been sworn in for a second term following his reappointment to the same position.
This came after he was sacked by His Excellency Dr Mnangangwa early last month.
According to the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services’ X post, newsreportzim.com has been reliably informed that His Excellency President Mnangagwa sworn in Sibanda and three other commissioners.
“This morning, His Excellency President @edmnangagwa sworn in the Deputy Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation Science and Technology Development, Honourable Simelisizwe Sibanda, and three Commissioners,” the statement reads.
The three commissioners are; Dr Rosemary Tsitsi Choruma, Sukai Tongogara and Tafadzwa Charles Hungwe.
Dr Rosemary Tsitsi Choruma and Sukai Tongogara have been appointed to serve in the Zimbabwe Land Commission while Tafadzwa Charles Hungwe is now under the Commission of Inquiry into the governance of Harare City Council.
