In less than 24 hours after Genesis “Kaka” Mangombe resigned from his position as head coach at Dynamos FC, he was appointed and unveiled as the new head coach of Scotland FC.
Scotland FC is an ambitious football club in ZIFA’s Northern Region, playing in Division One. The club is owned by Hon. Scot Sakupwanya, a renowned Zimbabwean politician and gold dealer.
According to H-Metro’s X post, newsreportzim.com has learned that Scotland FC have appointed Mangombe as new head coach.
“Former Dynamos gaffer Genesis Mangombe unveiled as new Scotland FC head coach,” the post reads.
Genesis Mangombe has been under fire after an underwhelming season, attaining just 30 points in twenty-two games so far during the current Castle Lager Premier Soccer League championship.
This tally has left the Glamour Boys in 7th place on the log table, 13 points behind the log leaders, Simba Bhora.
