A goods truck registered in Mozambique yesterday veered off the road and crashed into a house near the Mutare roundabout.
Initial reports indicate that the vehicle experienced a mechanical failure, specifically losing its brakes while navigating Christmas Pass in Mutare.
Authorities, who were called to the scene., said the collision “caused extensive damage to the home” after it plowed through the boundary wall.
No injuries were reported.

The residents of the home were absent at the time of the crash, an eyewitness said.
Photos of the crash have begun circulating online, quickly drawing attention and generating discussion on social media.
