A viral video has surfaced showing three women in Chitungwiza Unit C apparently caught st3aling a cash box from a shop, containing over $1,000.
The women have been arr3sted on charges of burglary and vandalism, as well as other unrelated burglary offenses, according to authorities.
Witnesses reported that the trio broke into the shop and grabbed the cash box, but the shop owners quickly alerted nearby individuals.
As the women reached their getaway vehicle, a brick-red Honda Fit, they found that the crowd had deflated their tires, leaving them unable to flee.
Some witnesses claimed the women were armed with a gun, which they hid in the car when they were surrounded.
“Mune pfuti mumota umo, vaviga pfuti mumota umu,” shouted one witness from the crowd.
