A man from Goromonzi named Munashe Ngoshi (21) has been arrested for k!lling his friend over a dispute about money.
The victim was identified as Lionel Nyakudarikwa. The money in question,ZiG9, belonged to Ngoshi’s uncle and was supposed to be used to buy alcoh0l.
Nyakudarikwa was asked to hold onto the money but later couldn’t account for it. This led to Ngoshi attacking him on August 16, 2024, near Chinyika Business Centre in Goromonzi.
Police said Ngoshi tripped Nyakudarikwa, causing him to hit his head on a wall.

Ngoshi then punched and kicked him repeatedly, even stepping on his head twice.
Nyakudarikwa was left unconscious, and a passer-by went to tell his father.
He’s father took him to Chinyika Clinic and later to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in Harare, but he d!ed after arriving.
Ngoshi was arr3sted, and the police are investigating the case. They remind everyone to handle disagreements peacefully and respect life.
