In a tr@gic incident on Sunday, two young boys, six-year-old Partson Gukwe and seven-year-old Tanyaradzwa Hlasela, were found d3ad in a parked car during a church service in Ruwa.
The boys were left in a red Honda Fit while their guardian, 57-year-old Paul Hlasela Makechemu, attended a service at Redemption International Church in the Damofalls Industrial Area.
Initially, the boys participated in Sunday School, but later returned to the car.
When the service ended hours later, they were discovered unresponsive in the back seat.

It remains unclear how the boys ended up trapped inside the vehicle.
The car was unregistered but had temporary plates.
Harare police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the incident, saying, “Police are investigating a sudden d3ath by suffocation case in Ruwa involving two minor children.”
The boys were taken to a nearby medical center but were pronounced d3ad upon arrival.
