A strange incident occurred in Chiweshe yesterday when a nak3d man was found wandering in Nyamunetsa village.
Local villagers identified him as Mwase, who they said came from a nearby village.
Some elders suggested that his condition might be related to ‘w!tchcraft.’
As more people gathered, Mwase was given a white garment to cover himself, eventually receiving a blue shirt and blue pants.
He appeared confused and mumbled incoherently when questioned by the villagers.
Village head, Sabhuku Nyamunetsa, expressed concern over the situation as reported by H Metro, stating, “Witchcraft goes against everything we believe in,” and emphasizing the fear and confusion it caused in the community. He plans to address the issue and hopes to uncover any accomplices.

Chief Makope has also intervened, sending a messenger to monitor the situation and summoning those involved to his traditional court for further investigation this Saturday.
A local prophet performed rituals at the scene, claiming Mwase was being manipulated by others involved in witchcraft. He said, “He’s not the mastermind but he’s being used by certain people.”
Witnesses reported seeing Mwase wandering around naked, looking disoriented and having bruises on his body. One witness described him as speaking in a strange manner that didn’t make sense.
During the commotion, Mwase accused his aunt, Mai Makuva, of witchcraft, which she denied, stating, “I’m a traditional healer. I help people, I don’t harm them.” She requested spiritual consultations to uncover the truth about the allegations.
Mwase also mentioned wanting to see a man named Sekuru Banda and claimed he had received anointed water from a woman named Mai Clayton to protect himself from witches.
In a faint voice, he recalled hearing a sister’s voice urging him to act aggressively. Mwase was eventually released into his relatives’ care as they prepared for his appearance at Chief Makope’s court on Saturday.
