A unusual whirlwind suddenly entered a classroom at Zhomba Secondary School in Gokwe North while over 30 students were in the middle of their Zimsec Combined Science Paper 1 exam on Tuesday.
This unexpected gust of wind blew away one student’s answer sheet.

The answer sheet was later found about 500 meters from the classroom, allowing the affected student to continue with the exam.
Douglas Samunyaka, the Gokwe North District Schools Inspector, confirmed the incident and explained what had happened.
He mentioned that the student was sitting next to an open window, which is why the wind picked up his paper. “It’s true that a student’s answer sheet was taken by the wind during the exam. Fortunately, it wasn’t a major issue. The answer sheet was retrieved, and the student continued with his exam,” Samunyaka stated as reported by Masvingo Mirror.
