A mother in Kalfa suburb, Norton, is seeking help for her two children suffering from a str@nge illness that she believes is linked to w!tchcraft.
Revai Ngirazi Bota (46) describes her 12-year-old son, who exhibits bizarre behavior such as digging in the ground with his hands, biting himself, and screaming during episodes where he claims to be @tt@cked by unseen forces.
This has stopped him from continuing his education beyond Grade 4.
Her 15-year-old daughter also experiences troubling symptoms, including a disturbing change in her appearance and feelings of heaviness on her face.
She has faced bullying at school, which makes her reluctant to return as she prepares to enter Form 1 next year.

The family is in a tough situation.
Mrs. Bota’s husband, Abel Bota (58), left four months ago due to stress and financial strain, leaving her to care for the children alone. They live in a rented house and struggle to afford basic needs, relying on neighbors for assistance.
Mrs. Bota has sought help from around 31 prophets and traditional healers and has taken her children to the hospital multiple times, but no one has been able to provide a diagnosis or a cure.
She is also haunted by nightmares and feels increasingly isolated as her neighbors fear the family’s situation.
With financial burdens mounting and her children unable to receive adequate care, Mrs. Bota is appealing for help, whether it is financial assistance, medical expertise, or emotional support. She can be contacted at 0779 868 119 for those willing to help.
