The assailants found Mandivini sle3ping in the dining room and immediately resorted to threatening her life, demanding money and valuables under the duress of their weapons.
Frightened and vulnerable, Ellen complied, resulting in the loss of US$305 and her mobile phone, which were crucial to her daily life and work.
The r0bbers did not stop there; they continued their search throughout the house and soon discovered Tembo sl3eping in another room.
In a similar act of intimidation, the r0bbers took her mobile phone as well, compounding the distress experienced by both women during the harrowing ordeal.
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson, Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha, confirmed the unfortunate event while highlighting the ongoing investigation into the crime.
