A sh0cking double marriage scandal unfolded at a lobola ceremony in Wedza, leaving guests in disbelief.
Nomsa Chitsaka, the Director of Commercial Services for ZimParks, was preparing for her traditional wedding when unexpected drama erupted.
Private investigator Tafadzwa Chidawa stormed in with startling @ccus@tions: both Chitsaka and her fiancé are allegedly still married to other people.
Chidawa’s surprise appearance sent the ceremony into disarray.
In a video that quickly went viral, he stated, “Both of the individuals are still legally married.” While he didn’t reveal their identities at the time, it was confirmed that Chitsaka was the bride-to-be.

It turns out that Chitsaka had previously tied the knot in a lavish wedding and has two children from that marriage. Since her first marriage is still legally binding, she cannot marry again without facing serious legal consequences, as it would amount to bigamy.
Chidawa claimed he had been hired by the wife of Chitsaka’s fiancé, who wanted to prevent the wedding from happening.
He even approached Chitsaka’s father to caution him about the implications of going through with the marriage. “If this wedding proceeds,” he warned, “both parties could be charged with bigamy.”
He pointed out that Zimbabwean law prohibits someone from remarrying while still married. When Chitsaka learned that Chidawa was at the ceremony, she reportedly tried to contact a high-ranking police officer for help to continue with the event, but the officer refused to get involved, stating he would not assist in breaking the law.
As news of the scandal spread, public interest grew rapidly, with many eagerly awaiting updates from Chidawa, who promised to share more details about the case.
Under Zimbabwean law, individuals found guilty of bigamy can face fines or even jail time if they proceed with the marriage while already legally wed.
