A passenger has taken to social media to share a harrowing experience with a combi driver who allegedly endangered the lives of everyone on board by driving against traffic rules while traveling from Harare CBD to Budiriro.
In a video shared by Crime Watch Zim, the driver appears unfazed as frightened passengers attempt to intervene, some expressing fear while others maintained a more composed demeanor.

The passenger, who recorded the incident, reflected on the experience in a heartfelt message stating, “It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Yesterday was one of the worst days of my life. From the moment I left town for Budiriro, I felt nothing but anxiety. I boarded a commuter bus labeled “Blessma 1 and 2” around five in the evening, and trust me, it was one of the most terrifying experiences I’ve had on the road. The driver was reckless—cutting into oncoming lanes, running red lights, and barely avoiding accidents more times than I can count. Passengers tried to reason with him, and even the conductor attempted to talk to him, but the driver only responded with defensiveness, questioning whether anything had actually happened and if he should drive any differently. We need to address the issue of drivers like this, whose dangerous behavior puts lives at risk. heartbroken.,” the passenger concluded, expressing deep concern for public safety.
