The Deputy Minister of Defence, Brigadier General (Rtd) Levi Mayihlome has officially commissioned a carpentry and joinery block at the Zimbabwe National Army owned Zimbabwe Military Medical Rehabilitation Centre (formerly known as Tsanga Lodge).
The Zimbabwe Military Medical Rehabilitation Centre (formerly known as Tsanga Lodge) is in Nyanga, Manicaland Province. Brigadier General (Rtd) Levi Mayihlome was acting on behalf of the Minister of Defence Hon Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri.
The block built by artisans from the three Infantry Brigade was established in collaboration with an indigenous financial lending institution Tottengram Investments (Pvt)Ltd.
The center provides treatment and training for members of the security forces injured in the line of duty. Trainings on offer include trout farming, crop farming as well as carpentry and joinery.
