The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in Shamva has successfully confirmed the recovery of a Toyota Hiace kombi, with the registration number AGJ 2458. The kombi was reportedly stolen in Mbare, Harare by the suspect, Simbarashe Musariri (42).
On November 13, the vehicle was intercepted at a security check point at the 87 kilometre peg along Harare-Shamva-Madziva Road near Bindura turn off.
Road traffic officials were able to identify the vehicle based on detailed reports and descriptions provided by the victim. The recovering of the vehicle by the ZRP highlights their commitment to addressing vehicle theft and ensuring public safety.
The ZRP urges the public to remain alert and report any suspicious activities that may lead to the recovery of stolen property.
