The incident happened on October 10 last year.
After he st@bbed her, Mupfuki tried to hide what he had done and left the scene as reported by Manica Post.
Witnesses said they heard Brenda screaming for help, but when they tried to get in, Mupfuki had locked the door.
One witness, Constance Gwemba, saw him holding Brenda against the wall while shouting about her ch3ating.
After some time, Mupfuki opened the door and walked away, saying he would rather be in jail than stay with a ch3ating wife. When people arrived, they found Brenda lying on the floor, badly injured and bleeding.
Mupfuki later called another villager, Chipo Madidi, and told her to gather everyone because he had killed Brenda.
He claimed he did it because of her affair with a local man named Joseph Murwisi.
Murwisi also spoke in court and said that Mupfuki attacked him with a log the same day, but he managed to escape. Mupfuki eventually ran away from the scene.
This tragic event highlights the dangers of jealousy and how it can lead to devastating actions.
