A woman from Kitusuru has come forward to share her side of the story after her boyfriend in Nairobi reported her missing, alleging she was kidn@pped.
Mercy Awuor was discovered at her husband’s home in Narok just days after her boyfriend, Brian, expressed his concerns.
Mercy’s disappearance left Brian devastated, as he believed she had been @bducted, claiming that he had been contacted about a ransom demand of $700.
However, in a surprising turn of events, authorities found her comfortably settled in her husband’s residence in Narok, where she lives with their two children.

In a public statement, Mercy denied the claims of kidnapping and ransom, insisting that Brian was not telling the truth. “I was shocked to hear he said I asked for a ransom. What would I do with that money?” she emphasized during an interview with local media.
It was revealed that Mercy is legally married to the man in Narok, who paid a bride price of two cows as part of their customary marriage agreement.
As the investigation unfolded, Mercy, her husband, and a third individual linked to the ransom demand all found themselves in police custody while authorities work to unravel the circumstances surrounding the allegations.
Brian, too, is currently in custody as the details of this complex situation are examined.
