The Warriors of Zimbabwe are geared up for their last Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions in Cameroon. Both the Warriors and Indomitable Lions have booked their tickets to the biggest international football tournament on the continent to be staged in Morocco next year in December.
The battle between Warriors and Indomitable Lions is for the top spot, with Cameroon leading the Group J with just two points ahead of Zimbabwe with nine.
Warriors Germany gaffer Michael Nees emphasized the importance of the match, stating, “We’re not here just for a holiday. This is a serious game, and we need to perform at our best. The fans deserve that respect.”
The coach has made some changes on his squad giving opportunities to players who have seen less action.
However, vice captain Marshall Munetsi and defender Gerald Takwara will miss the match due to inj_ries.
