A display of allegiance has left social media in stitches after a fan was spotted wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the name of legend Baltasar Ebang Engonga at a local football match in Uganda, despite the ongoing scandal surrounding the high-ranking Equatorial Guinean government official.
Engonga, who is facing intense scrutiny following the leak of over 400 expl!c!t videos involving him and numerous partners, has sparked widespread outrage among the public.
Engonga, the son of prominent political figure Baltasar Engonga Edjoo, is known for his roles within Equatorial Guinea’s government, including his time as head of the National Agency for Financial Investigation (ANIF).
The viral videos, which feature Engonga in !nt!mate encounters with various women—including those married to influential officials—have dominated social media discussions, leading to demands for legal action against him for potential health risks posed to others.
As debates around consent and public health swirl, the Attorney General’s Office is investigating Engonga’s actions, with an eye on the serious implications of knowingly exposing individuals to s3xually transmitted infections.
“If proven, he could face charges for endangering public health,” warned Attorney General Anatolio Nzang Nguema.
