In a decisive match of the Africa Cup of Nations qualification, Cameroon triumphed over Zimbabwe with a score of 2-1. The encounter took place today during Matchday 6 of Group J.
Cameroon’s Vincent Aboubakar opened the scoring early in the match, finding the net in the 18th minute.
Just five minutes later, Georges-Kévin N’Koudou extended their lead with a goal in the 23rd minute, putting Zimbabwe on the back foot.

Despite facing a challenging situation, Zimbabwe made a strong push in the second half and managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Terrence Dzvukamanja in the 73rd minute.
However, it wasn’t enough to secure a comeback, and the match ended with Cameroon claiming a 2-1 victory.
This match marked the conclusion of the group stage, with both teams looking to secure their places in the upcoming tournament.
