The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed the arrest of Ranganai Joseph Gowanyika, a 26-year-old man linked to a horrifying mu_rder case that transpired at Mupfurudzi Game Park in Shamva on November 14, 2024.
The brutal incident claimed the lives of two men, Moses Bhaera, aged 36, and his brother, Joel Bhaera, aged 34.
According to reports, Gowanyika, along with three unidentified accomplices who remain at large, viol3ntly @ttacked the victims using a spear and an Okapi knife, inflicting severe injuri3s that ultimately led to their d3aths.
Following the as$ault, the suspects callously set fire to the victims’ blankets and clothes after a misunderstanding escalated into viol3nce.
Despite receiving urgent medical treatment at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in Harare, both brothers succumbed to their inj_ries on November 18, 2024.
The police are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the remaining three suspects involved in this tragic incident.
