A 27-year-old woman from Borrowdale was brutally gang-rap3d at gunpoint by three men in Harare on Saturday.
Tragically, her two young children, a five-month-old infant and a two-year-old daughter, are also believed to have been s3xually @ss@ulted by the @ssailants.
The ordeal began when the mother stepped out to purchase airtime at the intersection of Harare Drive and Alpes Road.
She was carrying her five-month-old daughter on her back while her two-year-old daughter was perched on her shoulders.
As they made their way home, the woman encountered three unidentified men at the bridge near Pomona Quarry Stones.

The men tripped her, causing her to fall, and proceeded to take turns assaulting her.
It is alleged that the @tt@ckers also @ss@ulted her young daughters. After the @ss@ult, the tr@umatized woman managed to return home, where she recounted the h0rrific events to her husband, leading them to file a report with the police.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the investigation into this dreadful case.
“Police are currently looking into a rap3 incident involving a mother and her two young children in Borrowdale,” Insp Chakanza stated. “One of the suspects threatened the woman with an unidentified firearm and ordered her to remain silent. The attackers restrained her and assaulted her on the ground, exposing the family to a depraved act of violence.”
“The assailants instructed her to leave without looking back after the @tt@ck, and then fled into the darkness. The victims were later taken to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for medical examinations.”
