A woman from Harare has filed for a protection order against her husband, alleging phys!cal abus3 linked to her choice of hairstyle.
Nomsa Chidodo has accused her husband, Edmore Mutsangwe, of repeatedly @ss@ulting her over her preferred haircuts.
“I am applying for a protection order against my husband, who has a tendency to beat me whenever he gets the chance,” she stated.
“The v!olence escalates whenever I change my hairstyle. I hesitated to report this for the sake of our marriage, but the situation has become unbearable.”

In response, Mutsangwe neither denied the accusations nor offered an apology.
“I have a problem with my wife,” he explained as reported by Sunday Mail.
“Whenever we have minor disputes, she goes to her relatives for advice instead of allowing us to resolve our issues as a family. The first time I phys!cally harmed her was after she got a haircut I disapproved of, and she did the same again later. The styles she chooses simply aren’t appropriate, and I want her to adopt a look that I prefer, but she refuses to listen.”
In light of the testimonies, Ms. Meenal Naratom has granted the protection order against Mutsangwe, prohibiting him from physically harming Chidodo. She also urged the couple to engage in open communication and resolve their conflicts amicably.
