A tr@gic incident in Shamva has led to the d3ath of a husband after a dispute involving a solar inverter escalated into v!olence.
Esther Bwanause, aged 57, is currently cooperating with law enforcement as they investigate the events surrounding her husband’s d3ath.
Reports indicate that she fatally struck her husband, Enoch Mazvidza, with a brick during the altercation as reported by Newsday.
Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha, the acting spokesperson for Mashonaland Central police, addressed the situation, stating, “We are investigating a hom!c!de case in Shamva, where a wife has allegedly k!lled her husband following a disagreement regarding an inverter.”

The conflict reportedly began when Mazvidza accused Bwanause of giving their solar inverter to their daughter, which led to heated exchanges.
In the course of the argument, Mazvidza lost his temper and struck Bwanause with a wooden stick. In a moment of anger and self-defense, Bwanause reportedly retaliated by using a brick to strike him.
Following the assault, Mazvidza lost consciousness and was swiftly taken to the hospital but was declared d3ad upon arrival.
The case remains under investigation as authorities gather more details surrounding this unfortunate incident.
