Real Madrid breathed a massive sigh of relief after the Brazilian international forward Rodrygo resumed full training with the group today ahead of weekend clash against Gatafe.
Real Madrid confirmed that the Brazilian star will join the trio of Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, and Brahim Diaz in Ancelotti’s squard.
The renowned Italian sport journalist, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the development.
“Excellent news for Real Madrid as Rodrygo returns to training with the group today!. He’s ready to come back on the pitch ahead of schedule,” Romano posted.
The 23-year-old attacker initially sustained a hamstring inj*ry during the game against Borussia Dortmund last month and went on to miss the Clasico against Barcelona as a result. Rodrygo recovered swiftly and picked yet another muscle inj*ry during the clash against Osasuna.
Rodrygo’s return was expected to take place next month but the Brazilian international appears to have pushed forward the schedule as he trained normally.
The attacker has not had the best start to the new season, managing only three goals and two assists in 15 appearances.
