Liverpool head coach and manager, Arne Slot has clinched the Premier League Manager of the Month of November award for the first time since taking charge of the club after guiding the Reds to a perfect record in England’s top-flight league during the period.
Slot’s side came from a goal down to defeat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 at Anfield, beat Aston Villa 2-0 on home soil, and then produced another turnaround to clinch a 3-2 victory away at Southampton.
The Dutchman saw off competition from Brighton’s Fabian Hurzeler and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Gary O’Neil to take the prize.
Meanwhile, Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah has also voted and won the Premier League Player of the Month of November award following a stellar run in which he helped the Reds to three top-flight wins. The Egyptian scored four goals and recorded an assist in November’s fixtures as Arne Slot’s men opened up an advantage at the top of the league standings.
He first struck a winner against Brighton & Hove Albion in a 2-1 victory at Anfield, before a clinching strike in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa – where he also assisted Darwin Nunez’s opening goal.
This is the sixth time the Egyptian has been named Premier League Player of the Month (also in November 2017, February 2018, March 2018, October 2021 and October 2023)
