Residents of Grand Cape Mount County in Liberia are grappling with disbelief following the account of a young pregnant woman who discovered a bloody handprint on her belly after a haunting dream.
In an interview with Liberian journalist Donso Sheriff, the woman recounted her terrifying experience that unfolded three nights ago.
She described a nightmarish scenario where she confronted an unknown woman in her dream who was attempting to take her unborn baby.
In a fit of desperation, she slapped the mysterious figure, only to be jolted awake by an alarming sensation.
“When I opened my eyes, my stomach was burning,” she recalled, her voice trembling. “When I looked down, there was a red handprint on my belly… and it was bleeding.”
Panic ensued as her family quickly transported her to the nearest clinic, fearing for her well-being.
While the medical staff have yet to offer a scientific explanation for the bizarre occurrence, many in the community have concluded that it stems from a spiritual attack, fueling further apprehension and speculation among the residents.
