A 50-year-old married teacher, Nyasha Gambe, from Mutimwi Secondary School in Zaka, d!ed on February 8, 2025, after spending the night at the home of his alleged girlfriend, Laina Chimutsa.
Masvingo Provincial Police Spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the d3ath to TellZim News, stating that no foul play is suspected.
The incident occurred at Chimutsa’s house, located at Mutimwi Business Centre, near the school.

According to sources, Gambe, who had been drinking, contacted Chimutsa (34), a shopkeeper, around 2230 hours, expressing his desire to spend the night.
They agreed, and Gambe went to her house for the sleepover.
After engaging in s3xual intercourse, Gambe reportedly began feeling unwell, becoming weak and wetting the bed. Chimutsa, in a state of panic, contacted Gambe’s younger brother.
They rushed Gambe to Ndanga District Hospital, where he was pronounced d2ad upon arrival.
