Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo has gifted Gospel singer Dorcas Moyo a new car and $20,000 in cash after she faced backlash for a social media post. On March 31, Dorcas Moyo shared a post that read, “Ranganai Zvenyu asi Zvichakona,” which translates to “Plan all you want, but it shall fail.” These were lyrics to a song she released five years ago.
Zimbabweans criticized the musician, accusing her of posting a politically linked message that went against the masses. Chivayo took to his Facebook account to express his sadness over the attacks directed at the singer. As a result, he decided to gift her a brand-new car and $20,000 in cash.
