Police are gathering evidence and identifying witnesses who may have seen or heard something unusual in the area. Authorities found the victim’s skirt pulled up, with her lower garments discovered a few meters away from the body, raising concerns about the circumstances surrounding the murder. The ZRP is working to determine the cause of death and identify potential suspects.
The police urge anyone with relevant information to come forward and report to the nearest police station to aid the investigation. Investigators are calling on community members to provide any leads that may help bring those responsible for the crime to justice.
The ZRP remains committed to ensuring the perpetrator(s) face the full force of the law. The Criminal Investigations Department, mandated by Section 219 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, is handling the investigation.
