Impact Training Institute (ITI) recently held a one day capacity building Seminar in Harare.

He emphasized the importance of the family unit especially here in Zimbabwe and how each family member must appreciate the boundaries that are established in families .”Boundaries help family members not to get into unnecessary conflicts “.
Prof Chakabwata challenged the young people who attended the seminar to uphold the values of Ubuntu which teach good morals .”Never point a finger at your mother or father ,you attract the wrath of God .It doesn’t matter who you are .A parent is supposed to be respected .It is a principle set by God just like the law of gravity .It affects everyone ,” said the learned Professor who holds several powerful qualifications from both the local and international Universities.
Addressing the Church leaders who had gathered for the seminar Prof Chakabwata appreciated the role played by churches in the nation in fostering Ubuntu .He reiterated the need to balance the gospel message when delivering it within an African context and appreciate the good morals within our Zimbabwean culture .”Let us not demonize our good morals for example greeting and assisting elders or clapping hands as a sign of appreciation for something good done to you,” said Prof Chakabwata .
