The Robert Mugabe Square in Harare witnessed a massive gathering of thousands of people for the 2023 Harare Metropolitan Province Presidential Star Rally.
The event was graced by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who delivered an impactful address to the enthusiastic crowd.
In his speech, President Mnangagwa urged the crowd to vote for him.
As elections are getting closer, he said all political stakeholders must understand that those who engage in acts of violence will be held accountable, without any bias or favoritism.
He also said ZANU PF is committed to ensuring that the responsibility of serving the people of Zimbabwe is not neglected by opposition-led councils.

According to The Herald, President Mnangagwa has gifted title deeds to several families in Harare, regularizing many suburbs that were previously built haphazardly.
The publication further reports that a comprehensive compendium of projects in the capital reveals that a total of 267 projects have been implemented in Harare Metropolitan Province from 2018 to December 2022.

These projects span multiple sectors, including health, capital injection into industries, water and sanitation, education, provision of social protection nets, and infrastructural development.
Some of the notable completed construction projects include the impressive six-story circular new Parliament Building in Mount Hampden, which is currently awaiting its official opening.
Additionally, the newly commissioned US$153 million Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, with its modernized appearance, stands as a significant achievement. Another remarkable project is the state-of-the-art Natpharm Warehouse, showcasing the commitment to advancing infrastructure in the region.
