In a sh0cking incident, a local businessman, identified as Tristan Ali Mohamed, fell victim to a robbery, losing a staggering amount of US$50,000 in cash. The incident took place on Monday at his company premises located along Shepperton Road in Graniteside.
Mohamed, 27, had closed his company for the weekend and left on Friday, only to return on Monday to a devastating scene. Upon his arrival, he discovered that someone had managed to gain unauthorized access through a window, targeting three secured safes and making off with the substantial sum of money.
The police have been alerted and have confirmed the case, launching an investigation into the matter. Inspector Chakanza, a police spokesperson, stated, “Police are investigating a robbery case involving US$50,000 that was stolen at a company along Shepperton Road in Graniteside.”
The incident has sent sh0ckwaves through the local community, highlighting the need for heightened security measures and vigilance among business owners.
