A Catholic priest from the Archdiocese of Nairobi named Father Joseph Kariuki Wanjiku tragically died after spending the night with a woman who the police have identified as his girlfriend. The event occurred when the priest and his companion checked into a hotel on Friday night.
The woman expressed worries about Father Joseph’s condition the following morning, which triggered disturbing events. She immediately alerted the hotel management after seeing him begin to lose consciousness. She took the priest quickly to Kenol Hospital with the assistance of hotel employees.
