Nigel Kunyeya has taken to social media to respond to claims suggesting he leaked personal videos of his friend, Robert Mugabe Jr.
Following the unauthorized release of a private video featuring Robert Mugabe Jr. with two women, an Instagram account, purportedly linked to Nigel Kunyeya, claimed he was the source of the leak.
The video, which quickly spread online, showed the son of the former president in a compromising situation, with one of the women rumored to be the ex-wife of businessman Mudiwa.
Amidst the controversy, accusations arose that Nigel was behind the video’s emergence due to a fallout in their friendship.
Compounding the situation, the same account shared footage alleging that Robert had physically assaulted another mutual friend, reportedly resulting in the friend’s hospitalization after a fierce altercation.
There were even rumors that Robert Jr. interfered with his friend’s medical treatment while in recovery.

With speculation swirling about Robert Jr.’s alleged abusive behavior and threats towards Nigel’s family, the narrative surrounding the leaked videos became increasingly charged.
In a bid to clear the air, Kunyeya publicly denied any involvement in the release of the !nt!mate video.
He posted a message on his Instagram story featuring Robert Jr.’s photo, stating, “This is my guy, and whoever is spreading these rumors is only causing pain. I’m truly an innocent person in this situation.”
Nigel Kunyeya’s history of controversy isn’t new; he previously made headlines when he was apprehended with illegal substances at the State House.
Earlier this year, he made headlines after arriving at the presidential residence, seeking an audience with the president.
His unusual behavior prompted a security search of his vehicle, where authorities discovered packets of an illicit substance.
