In bid to enhance cooperation and understanding in Aviation safety, Air Zimbabwe has hosted a training for 69 Fire-Fighters and Rescue Trainee Officers from the Airports of Zimbabwe.
According to the official X account for Zimbabwe’s National Airline, the tour was a familiarisation tour to enlighten the trainee officers in hangar and aircraft management.
The statement read, “This initiative aimed to enhance collaboration and mutual understanding in aviation safety”.
Some highlights of the tour included; Hands-on experience with fleet and emergency procedures, building stronger bonds between aviation teams and airport first responders and strengthened mutual support for ensuring passenger safety and operational efficiency.
Meanwhile, today Hon. O.P Muchinguri Kashiri, Hon. F.T Mhona, Hon. B Rwodzi and other officials visited and toured the Robert Mugabe International Airport’s new VVIP pavilion section to inspect ahead of the August 2024 SADC summit.
