The 16th edition of the Econet Victoria Falls Marathon is scheduled to take place on Sunday July 7 2024, in the picturesque town of Victoria Falls. The marathon provides a platform for both local and international runners to challenge themselves against the best.
The event will kick off with the full marathon starting at 6:30 a.m., followed by the half marathon, half marathon relay, and fun run starting at 7:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m., and 7:45 a.m., respectively. The races will take place in the following distances:
Full Marathon: 42.195km
Half Marathon: 21.0975km
Half Marathon Relay: 10.5km x 2
Fun Run: 7km
Hundreds of athletes are expected to participate in the highly anticipated event, which is registered with World Athletics and AIMS (Association of International Marathon and Distance Races) , and has been measured under World Athletics regulations.
