The funeral service for the late former Warriors and Dynamos striker Norman “Lumumba” Maroto is scheduled for today, June 29th, at Rufaro Stadium.
Maroto p@ssed away on June 28th at a private hospital in Harare after admitting himself due to severe flu symptoms.
The ceremony will take place at Rufaro Stadium, where football enthusiasts, the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA), and the Premier Soccer League (PSL) will gather to offer their final respects.
According to a statement seen by Newsreportzim.com on Zimlive:
“A funeral service is being held today for former Dynamos star Norman Maroto who p@ssed away early Friday.
He will be laid to rest at Rufaro Stadium, his former playing field, where fans, former teammates, ZIFA, and the PSL will pay their final tributes.”
