THE people of Gutu West will this Saturday(today) have an opportunity to choose their parliamentary candidate in a by-election, with the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC), saying everything is now in place.
“Gutu West election to start today at 7am, we have 53 polling stations in Gutu West. All the 53 polling stations are ready for the election at 7 am. We have done our training for all the officers concerned, all the election agents from all political parties involved and all have been deployed now to the respective polling stations so we are ready for the by-election today,” said ZEC Masvingo Provincial Elections Officer, Mr Zex Pudurai.
Gutu West by-election comes following the death of one of the candidates, Christopher Mutonho towards the August 23 General Elections.
