Ambassador Nozizwe Iris Mhlanga, the founder of the Nozizwe Mother of Nations Trust, has been honored as the 2nd Runner-Up in the Businesswoman of the Year category at the prestigious PROWEB Women Achievers Awards 2024.
In addition to this accolade, Ambassador Mhlanga is a co-author of Women Making a Difference, a globally recognized book that has achieved the status of a Number 1 bestseller in the Women in Business category on Amazon.
Her Trust, established in 2018, has made significant strides in humanitarian efforts, including running a soup kitchen in Makokoba every Sunday and operating the “Meals on Wheels” program for the homeless across various hotspots in Bulawayo’s central business district. Moreover, the Nozizwe Trust provides financial assistance for the education of over 5,000 orphaned and vulnerable children in Zimbabwe.
Within just eight months in 2024, the Trust has received 47 international awards. Ambassador Mhlanga herself has been recognized with the Mother Teresa Award 2024 and has been conferred an honorary doctorate by Wisdom University.
