Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism Walter Mzembi said South Africa’s ruling party ANC has been too playful and is close to recreating a mirror government of it’s first government post independence.
Taking to his X (formally known as twitter) Mzembi shared the following:
“ANC has been too playful and is close to recreating a mirror government of its first government post independence.”
“The next few days require super wisdom otherwise an ideological chameleon is in the process of being born and will see the dearth of a once glorious revolution.”
Recently, South Africans were voting to choose their own parties to govern the country.
According to the results so far, the ruling party ANC faces serious challenges from other political parties like the Democratic Alliance and the MK Party.
The ruling African National Congress (ANC) is losing its parliamentary majority for the first time since 1994, securing around 40% of the vote.
