Police in Coleen Bawn are currently investigating a tragic m_rder case that occurred on October 3, 2024, at the Forest H 60 Mine, where 29-year-old Mlamuleli Mangena lost his life.
According to preliminary reports, the confrontation that led to Mangena’s death stemmed from a heated argument over a r0mantic interest, indicating the personal nature of the dispute.
Witness accounts suggest that the altercation escalated quickly, resulting in the suspects, identified only by their first names ; Trinity, Benito, and Mashelly @ttacking Mangena with a sharp object, striking him fatally on the head.
This brutal incident not only took Mangena’s life but also left another individual, Tinashe Chirenje, aged 30, seriously injur3d after being ass_ult3d with both a machete and an axe.
The police have classified the case as urgent and are appealing to the community for assistance in identifying any additional suspects who may have been present during the violent confrontation.
