A gang of five unidentified suspects pounced a house in Greendale, Harare. The incident occurred on Wednesday this week when the male suspects att@cked victims who were attending a funeral before stole.
According to the reports, the suspects were armed with a bolt cutter, catapults and wooden sticks.
One of the victims at the funeral robbed US$800 cash and 300 Euros. After robbers gain entrance in the house, they stole 30 assorted gold and silver rings worth nearly US$42 000.
In a statement seen by newsreportzim.com, the Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the incident and Police in Highlands are investigating the case.
Police in Highlands are investigating a case of robbery which occurred at a house in Greendale, Harare on 06/03/24 in which five unidentified male suspects who were armed with a bolt cutter, catapults and wooden sticks, attacked 10 victims who were attending a funeral.
The suspects stole US$800.00 cash and 300 Euros from one of the victims before they ransacked the house and stole 30 assorted gold and silver rings valued at US$41 800.00.
In another case of robbery, Police in Mvurwi are investigating case of robbery which occurred at Tsapato Farm on 05/03/24 at around 2330 hours in which six male suspects who were armed with sticks, attacked three farm workers before stealing 36 goats and 11 sheeps.
