A gang of ten armed robbers pound a business premise in Western Commonage in Bulawayo on 06 December 2024. The suspects att@cked the security guards before gaining access to the offices within the premises.
According to a statement from the police, ten armed suspects, including individuals wielding three AK-47 rifles and a pistol, launched an att@ck on six security guards who were on duty at the time. The suspects overpowered the guards before gaining access to the offices within the premises.
After gaining the entrance in the building, the thieves used grinders to open cash safes and stolen cash amounted to USD 7,000 and ZAR 18,000, the Zimbabwe Police confirmed.
The police in Bulawayo are seeking assistance from the public in their investigation, urging to the public anyone with information regarding the suspects or the crime to come forward report them at their nearest Police Station.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to apprehend those responsible for the daring robbery.
