Liverpool head coach and manager, Arne Slot has revealed that they will not talk about Van Dijk, Trent and Mo Salah’s contracts in public. The three Liverpool stars have their contracts which will expire at the end of the current campaign.
Speaking to the media following a 3-1 victory over Leicester City, Slot was asked for an update on the trio’s contract talks but he responded with an overview of their performances.
“We don’t talk about it in public, you know,” Slot said.
Liverpool moved seven points clear at the top of the Premier League with a 3-1 victory over Leicester, having fallen behind inside six minutes after Jordan Ayew gave the visitors a shock lead. Liverpool have won 15 of their 19 league games at Anfield in 2024, dropping just 10 points.
The Reds now boast the best home record in the Premier League – yet Slot is not getting carried away with Liverpool still two games from reaching the halfway point of the season.
