Obert Masaraure, the President of the Amalgamated Rural Teachers’ Union of Zimbabwe (ARTUZ), has been found guilty of obstruction of justice by Harare Regional Magistrate Feresi Chakanyuka.
This was confirmed by a post made by ARTUZ on twitter.
As a result of the conviction, Masaraure has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to be sentenced on the 23rd of May 2024 at 09:00 at the Harare Magistrates Court.
This development comes after Masaraure faced charges related to obstruction of justice, adding to the previous allegations against him for murd3r and public incitement to viol3nce.
