Corporate lawyer, Obert Gutu urged his fellow citizens especially those who are above 45 of age to undergo colorectal cancer screening.
In a twitter post extracted by newsreportzim.com, former MDC-T vice President Obert Chaururs Gutu shared the following:
“As part of my bi-annual thorough medical check-up, my physician recommended colorectal cancer screening.”
“He says that everyone over the age of 45 is advised to undergo this test.”
“My samples were collected & taken to the laboratory on April 15, 2024.”
“Lab results were delivered today, April 23, 2024.”
” It’s a negative result. I’m so happy! As we get older, it’s always important to undergo regular medical check-ups. ✔️”
Colorectal cancer development caused by high intake of processed meats and low intake of fruits and vegetables, sedentary lifestyle, obesity, smoking, and excessive alcohol consumption.
Colorectal cancer can occur in young adults and teenagers, but the majority of colorectal cancers occur in people older than 50.
