The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating a case of unlawful entry into premises and th3ft that occurred at a supermarket in Aspindale, Marimba , Harare on July 1 2024 at around 0200 hours.
According to reports, unknown suspects broke into the supermarket through the roof and tampered with the CCTV monitors. The burglars then proceeded to break open two safes and made off with US$50 000 in cash.
The police have appealed to anyone with information that may aid their investigation to come forward. They are also reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras to try to track down the suspects.
The exact circumstances surrounding the break-in are still unclear, but it is believed that the thieves used a ladder to gain access to the roof of the building before making their way into the store.

As investigations continue, the ZRP is working closely with local authorities and other law enforcement agencies to track down those responsible for the burglary and recover the st0len cash.
