A shocking incident has rocked the Beitbridge community after a local policeman was accused of assaulting a till operator with a beer bottle, leaving him seriously injured. Ziggie Khonzani, a 32-year-old police officer, appeared before Beitbridge regional magistrate Charity Maphosa on charges of attempted murder.
