Davis, who started taking birth control at 18 due to pressure from her physician, experienced severe headaches and blurred vision.
Despite seeking medical attention, her condition worsened, and she eventually lost her sight. Davis attributes her blindness to a rare side effect of birth control: a pseudo tumor cerebri, a build-up of cerebrospinal fluid that damaged her optic nerves.
She claims that her doctor failed to warn her about this potential risk.
