Lovemore Sithole, a 37-year-old Zimbabwean man, is facing a d3ath sentence in Botswana after being convicted of a h0rrific cr!me involving his 6-year-old stepson.
Sithole was found gu!lty of selling the child to r!tu@lists for $15,000 (approximately 200,000 Botswanan Pula) in a case that has sh0cked communities in both Zimbabwe and Botswana.
Authorities in Botswana reported that the cr!me occurred earlier this year when Sithole allegedly tr@fficked his stepson with the intent of r!tual s@crifice, an abhorrent act that is illegal and widely condemned.
Following an agreement with the r!tualists, Sithole reportedly turned over his young stepson, who subsequently endured unspeakable cruelty.

A month after the child’s disappearance, local authorities discovered the boy’s skull, which was later confirmed through DNA testing to belong to the missing child.
The remains were unearthed in an area believed to be associated with r!tualistic practices that have been a dark issue in certain regions of Botswana.
The identification of the remains shattered any hope for the boy’s family and the community.
Sithole was arrested shortly after the discovery of the remains, and police investigations established his involvement in the tr@fficking of the child for r!tual purposes.
The brutal nature of the cr!me has sparked outrage in both nations, with strong condemnation from authorities and communities alike.
